Celebration Event 28th March 2018 re Bishop Meadow Dig

On Wednesday 28th of March we held the thank-you evening to celebrate the Bishops Meadow Dig
This was simply an event to thank all those who took part in the dig itself, pre-planning, post excavation processing in fact everyone involved whether professional or volunteers.
The evening went extremely well there was lots of food kindly supplied by the National Lottery Fund and conversations regarding the dig I hope everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did.
After the celebration event we carried on with our normal monthly meeting where we were given an excellent talk by Catherine Wilson on the Lincolnshire explorer John Franklin of Spilsby.
We were also pleased that the new projector was in use I knew that it would be better than the one I loan the Group but I was really pleased with the quality of the picture.
