Digging ends but great time had by all.

With the excavation phase of the project now finished, we are delighted to report that the dig was an amazing success. We had an excellent turn out from the local residents and the every single pupil from Nettleham Junior school visited site and got to experience archaeology first hand. We also had many visitors to site including:- Nettleham Scouts, a local special needs day centre, two of the local walking groups, the U3A architecture group and the County Archaeologist.
